Os RHs estão cada vez mais recorrendo a entrevistas automatizadas em vídeo, e alguns até contam com IA para tomar decisões sobre quem passa para a próxima rodada. Como candidato a emprego, como você pode se preparar para essas entrevistas, especialmente quando seu entrevistador é apenas uma tela?
Confira as dicas professoras Zahira Jaser e Dimitra Petrakaki da University of Sussex Business School:
O que são entrevistas em vídeo automatizadas?
O primeiro passo para se preparar é saber que tipo de entrevista você está prestes a fazer.
Nem todas as entrevistas em vídeo usam a tecnologia IA. Por exemplo, algumas entrevistas são apenas uma gravação de um vídeo, que será assistido pelos gerentes de contratação. Para ter certeza de que sua próxima entrevista realmente inclui IA, fique atento aos seguintes termos nos e-mails que você recebe sobre a entrevista, ou nas letras miúdas. São elas são: machine learning, predictive analytics, decision algorithms, recommendation engines, data driven-decision.
Se você identificar esses termos, pode esperar que três tipos de dados sejam coletados: visual (expressão facial, movimento dos olhos, movimento da mão), verbal (vocabulário, palavras-chave) e vocal (tom de voz, pronúncia). As entrevistas conduzidas por IA usam os dados coletados para gerar automaticamente uma previsão sobre se o candidato é a pessoa que estão procurando.

Apesar do futuro indicar que a IA será inserida cada vez mais nos ambientes, sua ideia ainda causa um misto de curiosidade e desconforto. Candidatos a emprego tendem a achar a qualidade da tecnologia “superior” por dar a sensação de estarem em uma experiência futurista destinada a superar o preconceito humano. Por outro lado, a falta de conexão humana durante a entrevista, e a tensão do momento aumenta a ansiedade. Por isso, é importante ter em mente que a tecnologia não é nem de longe perfeita.
Causar uma boa impressão significa
agir como um humano
Muitas plataformas de entrevista de IA sugerem que você seja apenas “você mesmo”.
Contudo, pesquisas mostram que essa informação surte um efeito contrário nos prováveis candidatos. As pessoas começam a agir de forma robótica, mantendo uma postura rígida, um olhar fixo e usando as mãos o mínimo possível. Como forma de tentar causar uma boa impressão no algoritmo. Mas, o truque é exatamente o oposto. Quanto mais relaxado e natural a pessoa aparentar, melhor será a impressão do algoritmo. Por isso, pratique se ver mais na câmera. Acostume-se com sua própria imagem.
Portanto, tenha uma visão pragmática de qualquer julgamento feito pela tecnologia como potencialmente falho e tendencioso. Não deixe que o julgamento da IA derrube sua autoconfiança.
